Honey is a great food for children and toddlers during their growth period, especially at breakfast. It increases their resistance and also makes milk easier to digest.

Queen's Hivestore has been actively campaigning for the protection and respect of animals since its creation in 1988. None of our preparations or raw materials have ever been tested on animals. They are all tested and validated by doctors on human volunteers.

But we go much further to save bees and protect animals from suffering. For example, we have developed a pollen harvesting system that avoids injuring the bees and their fragile legs and allows them to choose whether or not to give us pollen, with two entrances to the hive. For honey, we only harvest the surplus, leaving all the resources to the bees.

Bees are our partners and our inspiration. Do we have the right to steal their production by tearing off their wings, giving them industrial sugar, and chemical treatments? We founded and practice Gentle Beekeeping®, a pioneering and activist method for animal welfare, biocenosis, and interspecies collaboration. All our beekeeping materials and plants are local and harvested seasonally, without biopiracy.

Digestible and invigorating, quality honey does not promote cavities or weight gain. Consumed in moderation, quality honey stimulates the metabolism. Composed of simple carbohydrates predigested by the bee, it does not clog the body and does not make you gain weight. Honey even contains a valuable enzyme, sucrase, which protects against cavities.

Honey is always liquid at the time of harvest. It only takes on its final consistency and color over time, depending on the seasons, its floral origins... and the personality of our bees! The precise texture of organic Grand Cru honey cannot be determined in advance. White marbling may also appear on the surface (especially in winter), a visual sign that your honey is truly pure and natural.

Accept these variations as a guarantee of true authenticity. With us, each jar of honey is truly unique!

Your organic Grand Cru honey is always at its best within a year of harvest. However, it can be stored for years if protected from light and temperature fluctuations. There's no need to refrigerate it; a good, temperate cupboard away from vibrations and light is ideal. Once opened, your honey keeps well thanks to its screw-top lid.

The 4 sensory criteria to know:

1 – Visual appearance: Color is an important characteristic of honey and varies depending on its floral origin and geographical location (example: orange-brown for jujube honey). Honey takes on its final color and consistency after a few months.

2 – Scent: Each honey has its own unique scent, more or less pronounced depending on its origin and age. Using your sense of smell, take the time to look for the subtle notes that characterize fine honeys, before and after tasting. (example: the sweet and discreet scent of cherry blossom for spring honey).

3 – Flavor: Taste your honey calmly to learn to perceive its characteristic aromas (woody, fruity, floral flavors). An example is Mâamora eucalyptus honey: its flavor is woody, simple, and generous with a floral and slightly minty note.

4 – Texture: When putting it in your mouth, be sensitive to certain tactile sensations: smoothness, granularity, etc.

The vast majority of our formulas are perfectly and naturally suitable for children over 36 months, thanks to their perfect naturalness. Since our products are naturally very rich in natural organic active ingredients, follow the recommended dosages carefully.

After traveling the four corners of Morocco in search of the best locations for our hives, we selected five exceptional regions:

• Timahdit, in the Middle Atlas, where the mountains offer exceptional flora for distinctive honeys.

• Sidi Kacem, known for its organic fields, particularly orange groves, guaranteeing sweet and fragrant honeys.

• The Grand Atlas, a mountainous region with high altitudes, ideal for producing robust and authentic honeys, such as high mountain honey.

• The Sahara, with its unique flora that gives rise to rare honeys such as euphorbia honey (daghmous).
